Heard a couple of thier songs on some compilations, but can't find any albums anywhere. Anyway, they are among only a few early eighties british punk bands that have really cool lyrics. (Just an opinion). Very original too.

Love the new bits, and people are asking ME why the Neurotics don't play the Holiday in the Sun festival...I'd say cos it's a bit sad and goes against the whole idea of what punk is about to wallow in an orgy of nostalgia, but there again, Steve, I've bought myself a Fender Precision and am bang on Andy Frazer/ Jaco pastorius bass playing form, so if Simon's up for it....(Only joking) Love Attila

Very comprehensive site, I have sat up all night reading everything and would gladly stay on line all week if there were more. I cant help feeling sad though, Steve, I know its several years since the split, Its like looking at a photo of a deceased parent; your heart swells with pride when you think of the sound moral values they instilled in you, the support you gave each other, in good times and bad, the sincerity and integrity of the one you loved; yet it also sinks when you realise you will never see them again. You say in the disturbing the peace interview that there is no future for the neurotics, but they live on in cyberspace; may I add that the one place the Neurotics will forever be is in my heart and in the hearts and minds of the few whos lives you changed for the better. My friend has this Black Flag bootleg from around 1984 at an unknown location where Rollins dedicates "Can't Decide" to the Newtown Neurotics-"a great fuckin' band." Interesting to find out that there actually was a band known as that and it wasn't just some stupid inside joke.
